These terms govern use of the Black River Mechanical Services Ltd. website and the engagement of our mechanical services. Specific project agreements may include additional terms.
1. Scope of Services
We provide plumbing, piping, HVAC, drain cleaning, gas, and related mechanical services as described in an accepted quote or project agreement.
2. Quotes and Payment
Quotes are based on the information available when prepared. Work outside the agreed scope may require written approval and additional charges. Payment terms will be stated in the applicable agreement or invoice.
3. Client Responsibilities
Clients must provide accurate project information, reasonable access, required approvals, and a safe working environment.
4. Changes and Revisions
Requested changes may affect the price, materials, schedule, and completion date. We will communicate material changes before proceeding where reasonably practical.
5. Warranties
Any applicable workmanship or manufacturer warranties will be described in the quote, invoice, or project agreement. Warranties may not cover misuse, unauthorized changes, or conditions outside our control.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, liability is limited to the value of the affected services, excluding indirect or consequential losses. Nothing limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
7. Termination and Cancellation
Either party may end a project as permitted by the applicable agreement. The client remains responsible for completed work, committed materials, and approved costs.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada.
9. Amendments
We may update these terms from time to time. The current effective date appears at the top of this page.
